Acrylic and PVC cutting: scratches, heat, thickness tolerance
Expensive acrylic fails on film and supplier tolerance, not only bad cuts.

Sign shops cut acrylic, PVC, polycarbonate, and composite like "just plastic." Then they wonder why the light box thickness does not match and the sheet is scratched before routing.
Protective film is part of process
Remove too early — defect. Leave on during heating — film melts in. Shop tasks must state: route with film, bend after removal, which side is face. A cutting map without this saves a minute and costs a sheet.
Bending and routing in one order
A box is not sheet area. It is grooves, bends, glue, lighting as a service. If the site quotes only m², the manager fills gaps manually and the client compares you to "cheap cutting without bending." Order services bridge marketing and shop.
Thickness tolerance
Acrylic suppliers vary thickness. Record batch on receipt. Two "4 mm" sheets on a box show a step. Claims without batch number fail.
Small sign letters
Dozens of letters nest tightly on a sheet. Remnant must go to stock or the next order opens a full sheet for three letters. List Master prices PVC and acrylic, puts widget leads into CRM, and does not lose remnant between layouts.
