CRM for a glass workshop
A widget lead arrives with sizes and total, not 'call me back.'

Generic CRM does not know glass thickness. It knows "warm lead" and "cold lead." A glass shop knows a lead without 6 mm tempering and two holes is correspondence, not an order. Copying sizes from WhatsApp to Excel to a "cutting" app is daily margin leakage.
Customer card ≠ order card
A customer may buy a mirror, then a partition. History lives on the customer. Spec, bevel, total, cutting — on the order. If everything sits in one CRM comment, you cannot repeat the sale in a month.
You need types: individual and company, phone, email, channel (Telegram, WhatsApp, widget). An IT-style sales funnel is mostly useless for a glass shop. You need order statuses: quote, invoice, paid, cutting, ready.
Where leads should come from
Site widget calculates area and services and submits with a total. Messenger — if the channel is connected: chat does not die on the manager's personal phone. Manual entry — for phone callers.
Bad path: ads lead to "name and phone" form and the manager recalculates anyway. You pay for the click twice.
Why Excel next to CRM hurts
Two sources of truth. One total told to the client, another sent to the shop. Bevel forgotten. List Master quotes in the same card as the customer, prints the quote, and does not make you copy numbers. This is CRM for sheet production, not a generic "relationship manager."
